What's it about?
A woman in her sixties, after losing everything in the Great Recession, embarks on a journey through the American West, living as a van-dwelling modern-day nomad.
Why do we love it?
A soothing ride through Midwest America, Nomadland is an affectionately told story of independence set against the backdrop of vast and beautifully shot landscapes. Using a cast of non-actors and basing much of the film on their experiences, Nomadland is a reminder to not waste your time, to see the world, and to keep moving forward.
