A rising pop sensation navigates fame and industry pressures while preparing for her arena tour debut, revealing the transformation of underground culture into mainstream success.

Anxiety fuelled and epilepsy inducing, capturing a very particular moment in modern pop culture in what becomes a celebration, a criticism and a funeral all in one. One of the better modern cultural satires, dissecting fame and influence in an always-on society, though its hyper-meta qualities do make it feel a touch premature.

Our verdict: 3.5 out of 5 stars.
