Zero Intention of Living Quietly is directed by Edward Lovelace.
Mistreated by people unable to cope with his unique visible difference, actor Adam Pearson glimpses a path away from isolation through his love of cinema. Upon meeting kindred spirit Ellie - a girl who shares his genetic condition, NF1 - their quest begins to forge a new type of movie hero, and finally press play on life.
Putting neurofibromatosis at the forefront in an inspiring and intimate documentary, Adam Pearson shares his story and life experience growing up while standing out.
The friendship of Adam and Ellie is the beating heart of this film. The encouragement as they both go through their shared experience is so vulnerable but essential support as Ellie guides Adam to go for his dreams, just as he does for her.
An excellent companion piece to A Different Man, showing how stories, movies and music can be used as a much needed escape.
