What's it about?
Ray and Ken, two hitmen, are in Bruges, Belgium, waiting for their next mission. While they are there they have time to think and discuss their previous assignment. When the mission is revealed to Ken, it is not what he expected.
Why do we love it?
In Bruges has one of the sharpest and foul-mouthed dialogue you'll ever hear and a simple but effective lesson in storytelling. A black comedy that handles some really harrowing themes changes its mood on a dime which is down to the excellent script from Martin McDonagh and the perfect pairing of the impeccable performances from the entire cast.
