Is This Thing On? follows a man in the midst of a divorce who finds his voice and calling in stand-up comedy. Far more informal and relaxed than A Star is Born and

Maestro, this combines the chaos of modern family life with a later in life coming of age story.

A charming story of self-discovery that feels very mature and honest despite the comedic themes. However, it is another film to add to the list that uses 'Under Pressure' to devastating effect.

Our verdict: 4 out of 5 stars.
