The fifth and final installment to Jackass franchise where the crew go on one last insane crusade.
jackass: best and last is a (literal) gut-wrenching love letter to friendship.
Like many, jackass played a wonderfully nauseating role in my adolescence. Growing up, absolutely not attempting any of the stunts I just saw, laughing with friends became some of my treasured memories.
Being able to attend a press screening of this final(?) film felt like a unique full-circle moment - two very distinct chapters of my life coming together in the strangest of ways.
The most unconventional shared cinematic experience imaginable, it was a ride to see the crew back in action and some of the most memorable moments of the series on the big screen, many with new and alternate edits. I jumped out of my seat more than in most horrors. I laughed more than in most comedies.
A wonderful reminder that the best laughs are often the simplest, but (for your safety and the protection of those around you) ideally don't involve injury, electrodes or laxatives.
