Madison is paralysed by shocking visions of grisly murders, and her torment worsens as she discovers that these waking dreams are in fact terrifying realities with a mysterious tie to her past.

James Wan returns to his horror roots but with a few box office successes under his belt creates a wondrously wacky B-Movie that astonishes with sheer confidence in its outrageous plot that becomes so ludicrous that it somehow wraps back around to being fantastic.
