Let's Not Jump to Conclusions. 3 / 5

Directed by Tom George.

In the West End of 1950s London, plans for a movie version of a smash-hit play come to an abrupt halt after a pivotal member of the crew is murdered.

A quaint British whodunnit that revels in its own self-awareness seemingly unaware of the pressure that puts on a satisfying conclusion as audiences gather to See How They Run.

Sam Rockwell and Saoirse Ronan lead the cast as the two officers assigned to solve the case of a murder in a vast ensemble that struggles to make use of its talented cast outside of the two leads.

A crime mystery surrounding one of the most iconic whodunnits of all time is very on the nose but it achieves its goal not by the complexity of its plot but letting the bold characters, personalities and settings shine.

It doesn't break the mold but instead holds a mirror up to it showing the joy in piecing together such a bleak mystery.
