Myself, I Feel Very Safe.

The Phoenician Scheme is directed and written by Wes Anderson.
Starring Benicio del Toro, Mia Threapleton & Michael Cera.
Wealthy businessman Zsa-zsa Korda appoints his only daughter, a nun, as sole heir to his estate. As Korda embarks on a new enterprise, they soon become the target of scheming tycoons, foreign terrorists, and determined assassins.
A Wes Anderson film with bite, The Phoenician Scheme tells a more focused family story than his recent films without losing the signature charm audiences have come to expect.
A well balanced ensemble cast led by Benicio del Toro and Mia Threapleton is only elevated by the inclusion of Michael Cera - a man who seems genetically created to live in Anderson's world.
Wickedly macabre while delivering laugh out loud moments The Phoenician Scheme is a strong addition to an ever-growing, precisely-executed filmography.
Our verdict: 4 out of 5 stars.
The Phoenician Scheme arrives in UK Cinemas May 23rd 2025
