Grace Rocky Save Stars.
Review written by Jack Aling

Project Hail Mary is directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller and written by Drew Goddard.
A science teacher named Ryland Grace wakes up alone on a spaceship light-years from home with no recollection of how he got there. As his memory slowly returns, he uncovers a desperate mission to save the Earth from an existential threat.
Behold the power of masterful storytelling, where an interstellar story of connection between an unassuming astronaut and a rock can move you to tears.
Gosling pulls off a largely solo performance, still being able to bring his charm and sentiment to the role as the planet's unlikely hero. The work in the writing, direction, production design and effects to bring Rocky and the Hail Mary spacecraft elevates this to an Immersive experience like no other.
Phil & Miller take Andy Weir's book and infuse it with cinematic language - practical filmmaking, state of the art visual effects, infectious humour and my personal favourite, differing aspect ratios as a visual language tool.
Project Hail Mary delivers everything the cinematic experience should - communal cathartic escape.
