Sometimes the Body Won't Listen.

The Long Walk is directed by Francis Lawrence and written by JT Mollner.
In a dystopian 1970s America, fifty teenage boys take part in a deadly annual walking contest, forced to maintain a minimum pace or be executed, until only one survivor remains.
A devastating endurance test, The Long Walk finds pockets of hope and humanity in the little things amongst bleak circumstances.
Going in, this was never going to be the feel-good comedy of the year. You know what you've signed up for, and you get it delivered on a silver platter in uncensored glory. But the performances and characters carry what could be a tedious premise.
I am fully on board the David Jonsson and Cooper Hoffman hype train. From incredible debuts in Rye Lane and Licorice Pizza, it's going to be thrilling to see the heights their careers take them with The Long Walk being another notable strong chapter in their story.
